Take a journey outside of the city to one of São Vicente's extinct Volcanos! Volcano Viana, 14 kilometres southeast of the island capital Mindelo elevation 163 meters, located 3 kilometers south of Calhau. Walk along the desert landscape reaching Viana you will ascend along the path of volcanic rocks until you reach the crater!
