⛴️ Can I visit Santo Antão in just one day if I arrive by cruise ship? Yes — a one-day visit to Santo Antão is possible if your cruise ship arrives early enough and departs later in the day. Ferries operate from São Vicente to Santo Antão Monday to Saturday at 07:00 and 08:00, and you should arrive at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes before departure. The ferry crossing takes about 1 hour. For the return, ferries from Santo Antão to São Vicente depart at 16:00 and 17:00, arriving in Mindelo at approximately 17:00 and 18:00. While they usually run on time, it is wise to allow an additional 20–40 minutes in case of delays. On Sundays, the schedule may change, so we will need to check the timetable for your exact date. If you share your arrival and departure times, we can confirm whether a same-day visit is possible and arrange the best itinerary for you.
